Master Precision is currently manufacturing some of our more challenging parts, and they have shown a high level of interest in learning advanced measurement techniques. Agilent Technologies is interested in Master Precision's scanning technique used to check roundness. Master Precision's CMM has a Vast head and is running Calypso software. We observed a demonstration of different scanning techniques such as helical and straight. We verified the scanning results using a ring gage standard, and were very impressed with the results.
